Colorado approved Proposition 122 (Natural Medicine Health Act) in 2022 and signed SB23-290 in 2023. As of 2026, the state has approved 34 licensed healing centers with more applications pending. The program allows psilocybin use in supervised healing centers and has expanded to include facilitator training programs. Colorado is the second state with a fully operational regulated psilocybin program.
